Skateable Weather Is it skateable today?
Check at a glance whether the weather is skateable: an hourly forecast rated by your own rules for wind, temperature, rain and dry ground.
How it works
- How an hour is rated An hour is skateable when it lies inside your time window and passes all rules: wind below your maximum, temperature inside your range, ground dry enough, and no rain or snow in the forecast. Adjust the rules in the settings.
- Daily summary The card above the forecast names the best window of the day and what blocks the rest, e.g. too windy before, wet ground after. Past hours are ignored for today.
- Ground wetness Rain wets the ground, sun, wind and dry air dry it again; puddles from heavy rain take longer, frost keeps things wet. The model starts from the past week's weather, so yesterday's rain and snow count. Without that history the first hours of today are only an estimate. Choose your surface type in the settings if your spot dries faster or slower.
- Data Forecasts come from WeatherAPI.com and are refreshed every 15 minutes. All settings and favorites stay in your browser.
